KXCV-KRNW News Director, Jeremy Werner, talks to Sean Nevills -a former teacher and coach in Missouri who is now leading the way for current physical education teachers.
Sean Nevills is what you would call a rising star in the physical education community. He was the director of Physical Education in Missouri, before transitioning to his new role as Project Director for Shape America. For his new role, he's been working with physical education teachers on how to keep students healthy during a pandemic.
Nevills says physical educators have a brand new opportunity with students in their home environment.
Nevills spoke on the Northwest Missouri State University campus Tuesday, September 22nd in the J.W. Jones Student Union Boardroom.
